Hello – my name is ***** ***** I am an attorney with over ten years in private practice. My goal is to provide you with excellent service. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!

What papers are you referring to, specifically?  Did the dealer provide you (directly) with a bill of sale and title?

Customer
Purchased a used vehicle from dealership I financed they have had to send me a second temp tag and that is expiring they did not send papers to dmv yet so I can register vehicle
Customer
Do I have the right to return vehicle

Attorney John, Expert

If the tag expires and you can no longer drive the vehicle, then you would have a good starting point for returning the vehicle.  Tell them if the registration is not completed before the tag expires, you will be filing a consumer complaint with the state attorney general.

In addition, let them know that you will be suing them for the return of the vehicle, plus any monetary damages you incurred as a result of not being able to drive the vehicle.

Customer
They are offering g another temp tag

Attorney John, Expert

I would tell them what I said, and make sure to emphasize the consumer complaint portion.  The agreement was not to provide you with temporary tags - it was to provide you with a vehicle that could be properly registered.
