The short answer is yes if you have compled with all of the terms of your suspension.  If you failed to appear at school, you need to go to the class.  The best way to figure this all out is to order a driver's abstract and it will detail the suspension.  If there are fines owed you need to pay them off or enter into a payment arrangement.

I go to the traffic school, I be able to reinstate my driver license to active,
Customer

It would depend on the total reason for the suspension but that is something that needs to be done.

The abstract will tell you everything.

Customer
I had a pull over on March and I got speeding ticket, no prove of insurance and a reckless driving ticket. I went to court and show them the prove of insurance and I was told that I don’t need to attend the court date if I pay off the fine with traffic school and take off speeding ticket, so I pay for the speeding traffic school and I was told I’m good to drive again but have to attend the school. But they never sent me address or mail and I fail to attend the class and I wasn’t notified that my license was suspended. So I got pull over and was told that my license was suspended
Customer
the lady at the counter told me that I couldn’t reinstate my license because I fail to attend the traffic school and since I didn’t attend, they added all the other charge including failure to hearing which I was told I don’t have to go since I pay the traffic school but I did go to court a week ahead to submit the prove of insurance and I was told to wait for the judge to sent me a letter and I only got a letter of all my fine paid.

You need to take that course and that should be it all from what you have told me.

Customer
if I go take the traffic school which I just sign up again for, I be able to reinstate my driver license then and put it active?
img

Michael Bradley, Expert

I would take the school first, get your certificate and then contact the judge to get the previous deal offer reinstated.

Customer
But I had another court date at TN which I am ask to bring an active license to drop the charge so I need to put my license back to active
Customer
I didn’t know my state suspended my license and didn’t inform me about it and I went in to ask for any notice they sent and I was told that they can’t give me any and they can only look up the reason why I was suspended
img

Michael Bradley, Expert

Continue the new case until you get your license situation sorted out.  Once you get it back to current they new charge should be dismissed.

Customer
Why is it that my license wasn’t allow to reinstate? The lady at the counter told me my license is suspended until may 10 and can’t reinstate
Customer
Will I be able to reinstate it after attending the traffic school which was the reason that start the suspension?
img

Michael Bradley, Expert

I can answer that for sure without a coy of your driver's abstract

Customer
Who can I ask the abstract from?
img

Michael Bradley, Expert

What state is your license in?

Customer
Kentucky
Customer
I was told I’m charge for failure to appear in court, speeding, careless driving since I fail to attend the traffic school

The link you need is below

Customer
Apprent I can’t see anything about my case or payment
Customer
I have a court date at April 27, and my license won’t be active until may 10 so will the judge extend my license for driving under suspension even though I didn’t get mail sent about my suspension?
img

Michael Bradley, Expert

2 weeks before the 27th reach out to the court and ask for a continuance and let them know you are not available.  The new date should get you past the 10th.  If necessary retain a lawyer and have them ask for the new date.

Customer
during that time I should get my license back to active?
img

Michael Bradley, Expert

That is the goal, if you get it back the ticket for driving on a suspended license gets dismissed.

Customer
Alright I do just that then

Customer
Since I got pull over at another state, and I pay my fine already, it shouldn’t extend it right
img

Michael Bradley, Expert

You can not plead guilty it would extend the suspension.  You need to plead not guilty.

Customer
I do plead not guilty since I didn’t get no mail about it and was only inform when I got pull over
img

Michael Bradley, Expert

The fiing of not guilty will kepp the case open and if it goes as planned, it should end in a dismissal.

Customer
Alright

Customer

Customer

Customer

Customer
does this mean I can reinstated my DL
img

Michael Bradley, Expert

From that report it appears that it is.

Customer
Well I just call the DMV and they said it still gonna be suspended until I get to hearing
img

Michael Bradley, Expert

That would make sense, at the hearing you can ask for the deal to be reinstated.

Customer
I see
Customer
Apparently the motor and division haven’t given me a call back for a reschedule so what should I do?
Customer
it unsure whether I can get a hearing either
img

Michael Bradley, Expert

I would contact the court and request it be relisted before the judge.
