Good morning

This is Alex, Esq., and Welcome to Just Answer.

I have been a legal expert on the site for over a decade and my goal is to provide you with the best experience possible and answer any questions which you may have about your current situation. Your satisfaction is my top priority! Please note this site is for general information for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Communicating with an expert on this site does not establish an attorney-client relationship and it is always in your best interest to retain legal counsel, if you have a current legal matter, that you need help with.

First, thank you for coming to the site and trusting that we can provide you with the proper information to help you have a better understanding of the situation. Second, I want you to know that I understand how frustrating and/or concerning your situation might be, so I am here to help and hope we can work through this so you know what direction you may want to proceed in and to alleviate the stress.

Are you able to reinstate it?

Customer

Is there a case filed with the court?

Customer

RealEstateAnswer, Expert

If a case has been filed, I would reach out to the attorney representing the bank on Monday and speak with them, about this. You also need to call your lender and ask for a reinstatement amount, which you should be able to pay in full, to take it out of default. If you can pay what is past due and owed, you can reinstate it, and save it or ask for loss mitigation and see if you can modify the loan.

Customer
I have and Mr. Trujillo will not call me back.

No

It is the lender. STatebridge.

If a foreclosure has been filed, and an attorney is handling it, you should speak with them and make an offer, to reinstate the loan and stop and dismiss this. You should also be able to speak with your lender about this, as it should not be limited to one man/employee to decide if you can pay and want to save the loan.

Customer
Thank you.
