You should contact the Insurance company and ask them to reverse the transfer, If you havent done that, I suggest that may be the best next step

Customer

They had no right to do that, but it is the Australian police who would need to prosecute

Customer
As discussed during our lengthy phone conversation on the 17th of June 2021, The NSW Police Force will not be taking any further action in relation to the allegation of Fraud you made for the following reasons.1) You as the victim currently reside in New Zealand.2) The insurance company which relates to the allegation, FIDELITY LIFE INSURANCE is also based in New Zealand.(no complaint has been received via this insurance company)3) There is no financial loss to yourself as a result of the alleged fraud attempt.4) The relative minor nature of the alleged crime when balanced with the international implications.5) You have admitted that the policy for which the alleged fraud relates has now lapsed. As discussed it is not an offence to allow an insurance policy to lapse. Your estranged husband is entitled to stop making payments on a shared insurance policy if he chooses to.6) You have an alternate avenue to pursue the matter, as discussed, you have engaged a solicitor to pursue your estranged husband in relation to your shared property/assets.I have made an enquiry with the Department of Immigration and can confirm there is currently no issues with the immigration status of your estranged husband,RegardsError! You can apply for child support in New Zealand and Inland Revenue will enforce this in Australia

I have done that, but he tried to play a game on me took my daughter to my mother- in law and IRD asked me to pay the mother in law.
Customer
Its unfair on me
Customer
He has done wrong forgery, and no one is liable to take this matter

If the Australian police will not prosecute then your only option would be to start a private prosecution over there which would be expensive

Customer
thats why i was looking for a lawyer in Australia not NZ. Any idea how much will it cost a estimate
Customer
What about complaining to a ombudsman
Customer
Ms Sharma,I have reviewed the complaint matter you refer to in your letter regarding an allegation of Fraud that was assessed by Detective Sergeant NAPIER of Campbelltown City Police Area Command.I note that he has contacted you outlining the reasons the allegation of Fraud has been recorded and will not be further investigated by the Campbelltown PAC.This matter has been reviewed in full at the Campbelltown PAC. The assessment of Detective Sergeant NAPIER is supported by the Campbelltown PAC Commander in that he has correctly identified the necessary proofs of a Forgery Offence under the NSW Crimes Act are not met in this case. He has also outlined the reasons for this as I see in the email you have forwarded to our unit. While I understand your situation is difficult it is unfortunate that the NSW police are unable to offer further assistance in this matter. I note there are some civil actions underway and agree that this the most appropriate forum for the issues reported to be addressed.Kind RegardsRachel Fawcett

You would easily spend $15 to $20,000

The ombudsman does not have power over this sort of thing

Customer
This is the email, I received from the commisioner today saying about civil actions what do they mean this I dont understand
Customer
Please can you help me on this

Chris The Lawyer, Expert

You could sue him alleging fraud but the damages are not a large amount and the legal costs would be greater than anything you get

Customer
you mean he would not be charged with anything for forging a signature
