It can be difficult to take custody of a grandchild where at least one of the parents is doing a good job.Does the mother want you to apply for custody? If she does not it would be hard to persuade a family court judge to allow this

Customer
I will still persue another opinion I do appreciate your opinion on the matter though thank you

It it is very difficult to watch your grandchildren in a situation where you don't feel the parents are doing the best. But the solutions are also very difficult and often need to involve the wider family as in your whanau
