Hi
I am a New Zealand lawyer based in Wellington and will help you with your question today. Please wait while I read the question so I can make the most useful response

This is likely to be a relatively minor charge, and you may even qualify for diversion if this is a first offence

You can attach documents, but delete the names
Chris The Lawyer, Expert
Are you charged with meth utensils and meth as well?
Chris The Lawyer, Expert
It isn't a jail matter probably and you can defend this on the argument you didn't know those items were in the car. If you provide evidence you just bought the car, and explain that you just did not know about the items, a judge may believe you-but there is a risk they may not. You may need to apply for legal aid if you are not working

You will not know exactly what the charges are until they give you the charging document. They may not bother charging you for the bag of weed for personal use
Chris The Lawyer, Expert
When you go to court or possibly before they will give you the charging documents with the actual charges
Chris The Lawyer, Expert
That document is required where they do not have a search warrant

If they have not finger printed you and taken your photo, it may be because they do not think this is too serious
Chris The Lawyer, Expert
They will do so, but may not have had time. If you talk to the police I am sure they will give you the correct documents like the charging documents before you go to court
