Hi
I am a New Zealand lawyer based in Wellington and will help you with your question today. Please give me a minute to read the question

I am sorry that this has been a difficult tie for you. But in New Zealand divorce is no fault so he cannot bring up any suggestion you may have cheated, because that doesnt affect the divorce. And all the relationship property including Kiwisaver and other assets must be divided equally. You can also get spousal maintenance if you gave up your career to look after the family

Customer
Hi we are still in a house together. I have a separate account where my pay comes. I have been transferring him money fortnightly . He uses that money on bills. He claims that he has been paying mortgage from his account. bot***** *****ne he is threating me that he will not pay me a dollar.

He does not have any choice about sharing the property because the law is very clear. He can be forced to do so

Customer
can he sent me notice to leave home?

Chris The Lawyer, Expert

If you both have an interest in the house he cannot force you to leave or give you notice
