The basic criteria are a clean police record, good health and appropriate age. If you want to work in New Zealand you should be applying for a job on the skill shortage category and have the necessary qualifications and standard of English. Perhaps you can explain how you fit into those
Customer
Hello and thanks for your reply.. let me tell you my husband's and my qualifications and you a give me your advice..For me I am 40 years old, Jordanian, married with three kids (17, 13, 11). I hold a 1.5-year diploma in Accounting. My latest job experience since 2018 until now in project management at nonprofit organizations. Before that, I worked for 2.5 years as a visa officer at The Department of Home Affairs at The Australian Embassy in Amman, Jordan. My English language is proficient, I got 7.5 overall band in IELTS.My husband is 49, he is Jordanian too. He holds BA in Business Administration majoring in Banking and Finance. His work experience for the past 10 years is in marketing, specializing in digital marketing and social media. His English language is very good, he can get a minimum of 6.5 overall band on IELTS.My children study at British system school in Jordan, their English language is excellent. Please advise if we have a chance to migrate to New Zealand, and if yes which path should we take.Regarding a job offer, we do not have any for now. please advise if there are any recommended websites that accept applications from people offshore.

The principal issue at present is that the borders are closed because of Covid, which is unlikely to change this year. The next problem is that those qualifications do not show on the skill shortage category which would make your application difficult. There are numbers of job sites where you can apply online but is generally best to get a visitor visa and come here to apply. Here is the link for the skill shortage list so you can checkhttps://skillshortages.immigration.govt.nz/

I am aware that borders are closed, but I thought that the application will take time for processing too. In the skill shortage list, there is a marketing specialist which fits with my husband and there is a project administrator that fits with me... or is it beacase our education is different from our work expereince???

It is a combination of education and work experience. These applications are not being even processed at the moment however. But certainly start looking on New Zealand job sites such as Trademe.co.nz and seek.co.nz and see what is available
Customer
your recommendation is to find a job then apply????

the problem can be that the applications can take some time even under normal circumstances so it can be a challenge to apply and get here promptly
Customer
I understand... Many thanks... I will check and get back to you if I have more questions.. Thanks for your help so far :)

Customer
not at all... I don't want a lawyer who gives me fake hopes.... by this I can check all options and take a fair decision...
