When parents cannot agree about a parenting agreement for their children, it is always a good idea to start with a family mediation. There are a number of different providers of mediation, who will arrange the mediation and appoint an independent, trained and neutral mediator. The mediators must go through special training and be approved for family mediations. They set up meetings with the parties separately and together to facilitate the parenting agreement.
