I would suggest you instruct a new solicitor of your choice if the one who has purchased the practice is not suitable. You can send an authority to uplift the files and deeds to the new lawyer if you want to change,

Hi, is there a standard form to appoint new trustees of a trust and directors of a company?

To appoint new trustees you just need a resolution in terms of the appointing clause of the trust deed. If the trust owns property you will then need to register the transfer from the retiring trustees to the new ones. The forms to appoint a director are on the Company’s Office website, and you need a shareholder resolution in the company minute book, and a consent to act for the new director, and then particulars of the new director to be registered
