What is the problem?

Customer
I am finding the form difficult to understand, and LINZ is unable to provide further information. I need to know what to submit with the manual lodgement form

Have they asked you to provide identification? there are normally a number of documents which are required but I am unsurewhat you have provided so far

Customer
I have not provided anything as yet, they have not requested I.D either which I find strange
Customer
I only printed the form today. Have you seen a manual lodgemebt form for LINZ before?
img

Chris The Lawyer, Expert

Actually no, I only do this online but I will look on the site

Customer
Thank you. If you go to LINZ.govt.nz then in the search bar type transfer

normally this is done online – I know some dealings are submitted with manual lodgement forms, with the transfer would normally need a statutory declaration and possibly some tax information. I assume if your mother is transferring a share in the property, then there should be some deed of gift or something similar. You would also need a transfer document. I am not sure they have examples of those on the website however

Customer
okay great, is that something that can be done manually? We were trying to do it with as little fees as possible.

That is where you find the transfer form which needs to be completed and signed-Form 5
