Totalitarian simply means the excess control of the government over human lives. This can result in many issues where the human has to live under fear and suppression. It can even control the economy. The market economy may be transferred into the consumer economy. This may affect the entire practice of individual and business firms. North Korea is the best example of this regime. Here the market is strictly controlled by government.By introducing the common law the decisions are made by court and legislation where the individual freedom is given and any decision is taken on the basis of cause and effect the relationship. The detailed study is done before any decision and thus totalitarian regime can be controlled. Every person is given freedom and liberty to behave. This helps the individuals to enjoy the freedom of choosing what they like.With the common law system, the capital market and the money market will be active and this enables the economy to grow. There is a strong relationship between the capital market and the legal traditions of a country. So the countries with common law experience market growth. This enables the market to perform fair practices and the individual gets the freedom to decide the market activities. Due to the active participation of the manufacturer and the customers strengthens the market economy and the flow of capital flow is free. These practices strengthens the market.
