Hi
How may I help

Customer
Can you identify an area of social change where New Zealand law might or might not be or have been in step with public opinion? Identify the area of change and the relevant law.

I thought I had answered this one. There are a number of areas where this might have happened. Abortion law reform is perhaps a good example, where there is this year a change to the law recognising that most New Zealanders wanted abortion taken off the list of crimes in the Crimes Act

Some argue that common law systems reduce the risk of totalitarian regimes and enhance and strengthen markets. Explain why this might be so.
Customer
here's the answer I found can u summarise it in to a smaller paragraph
Customer
Totalitarian simply means the excess control of the government over human lives. This can result in many issues where the human has to live under fear and suppression. It can even control the economy. The market economy may be transferred into the consumer economy. This may affect the entire practice of individual and business firms. North Korea is the best example of this regime. Here the market is strictly controlled by government.By introducing the common law the decisions are made by court and legislation where the individual freedom is given and any decision is taken on the basis of cause and effect the relationship. The detailed study is done before any decision and thus totalitarian regime can be controlled. Every person is given freedom and liberty to behave. This helps the individuals to enjoy the freedom of choosing what they like. With the common law system, the capital market and the money market will be active and this enables the economy to grow. There is a strong relationship between the capital market and the legal traditions of a country. So the countries with common law experience market growth. This enables the market to perform fair practices and the individual gets the freedom to decide the market activities. Due to the active participation of the manufacturer and the customers strengthens the market economy and the flow of capital flow is free. These practices strengthens the market.

I will answer this, but what is the value to your son, if you are doing his homework for him?

under a common law system, the parties are free to challenge decisions in the court. Under a free and democratic society the courts are a separate branch from the legislature, and can make rulings on legislation boldly and without fear of interference from the government as you would have under a totalitarian system. Because the market is not regulated as it is in a totalitarian system, the parties to contracts and commerce can resolve issues with an independent and impartial court system

Customer
Im not doing it for him. I just need a point to go off by because I find it a hard question myself. Im only asking about the tricky questions

You asked questions earlier, which I answered. You then ask some more and I said I felt uncomfortable about doing your sons homework. But this system is not for answering homework questions but answering legal questions individually.you have tried to get many questions answered after the first one, but you have not even accepted the first response, which is how I get paid. So I don't want to do a homework service unpaid

Ask a lawyer and get your legal questions answered.
