Customer: Wondering if you can offer any advise of what I should do. There was an incident of a production manager abusing me in an open office and just kept reparting him self shouting in front of everyone at me because I did not like how a talked on the phone to a client even though the client was fine. I said we were behind 8 weeks instead on lead time 8 weeks. So he went on one in front of everyone, I felt upset and humiliated. I just said to him for him to do it himself and I was going home. This led me to having two weeks all work on sick as I was unfit to work. I went back to back on Thursday, I was ask to attend a meeting where I was ask if I was alright and I said I was good. That was my return to work I think then I was informed that most of my work is no longer part of my role and the question is. The work I have is not enough for my working day and I think they are trying to get me to leave. What should I do
JA: What kind of workplace is this (private sector, public sector, etc.)? How many employees?
Customer: Private 40 employees roughly Window manufacturing company about 13 people in office
JA: Where are you located? Harassment laws vary by state.
Customer: Christchurch new zealand
JA: Anything else you want the Lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: What will the cost be and should I ask about my role change
JA: The Expert's answer will cost $10 to $100, depending on the issue type and time to respond. You'll see the exact amount on the next page and can decide then. It's way less expensive and more convenient than any face-to-face visit.

They cannot force you to leave and you can make a complaint about the abuse-that is a health and safety issue as well as poor behaviour by the production manager. You are probably correct that they are trying to make you leave, but if they have taken most of your work from you, you can claim a personal grievance for the disadvantage to your job. You should inisist on getting the work back and tell them this could be a constructive dismissal if they try to manage you out of the job

Customer
