Normally blackmail is a crime. How is this recording being used against you?
Customer
He did'nt use it for anything but he had my conversations recorded in his mobile without my permission .

Chris The Lawyer, Expert

It isn’t illegal to make a recording without permission but the use can be limited if you did not consent
Customer
What are the options for me to stop him to forward my recordings ?
img

Chris The Lawyer, Expert

It is an offence under the Harmful Digital Communications Act to do that and also under the Crimes Act. So you should warn him of the consequences and that jail is usually the penalty
Customer
Can he use my recordings in court as a evidence which he recorded without my permission ?
What should i do to remove my recordings from his phone ?
It was'nt recorded on telephonic call .
He recorded conversation face to face ones without trlling mebthat he is recording .

The law about using recordings as evidence depends on the circumstances under which the recording was made. If the circumstances were unfair and you were tricked into making admissions, then the evidence might be rejected as being unfairly obtained.

Customer
I was living with an indian family .
I paid $525
Included one week bond and two weeks rent in advance .
As i paid my last rent on 17 march and i gave my two week notice period on 21 march .
As he mention the room was' t clean and also he denied me to use his vaccume cleaner and he said organise yourself .
He is not returning my bond and the rent which i paid in advance .
Even i said you can call the cleaner and deduct the money out of my bond and advance rent .
He said you have to organise that but he will not give my money back also he started blackmailing me about my recorded audios .
What legaly i can do in this situation .

You can make a claim to the Disputes Tribunal to recover your bond. You can't go to the Tenancy Tribunal because this was a boarding situation and not a residential tenancy. However you can make an application to the tribunal online and start the process now. I don't understand why you think he can blackmail you – blackmail is usually about the threat to disclose something embarrassing.
