In this situation it is very likely that you were offered the job and that they have made a mistake by cancelling the job offer before you were able to start. You can use this to claim a personal grievance for the way in which you were treated by the back and forth process. In this situation it is likely that it would be resolved at the first stage of a personal grievance which is the employment mediation. I suggest that you start by contacting them with an email or letter saying that you are distressed by the fact that you were offered the job but then told the job was withdrawn. Tell them that they should resolve this or you will seek employment mediation
