Hi, I have a question regarding human rights violations and discrimination for a tertiary bachelors course that will lead to a job later on

I have always wanted to be a nurse, however due to current restrictions in NZ for DHBs and healthcare, covid vaccinations and boosters are very much still mandatory. I am currently applying for a vaccine exemption after having suffered from adverse reactions from the 2nd Pfizer dose. Having conversed with staff in the social service and health department at the polytech, they have said that and I quote from previous correspondence,"I am writing in response to enquire about a medical and/or spiritual exemption for COVID 19 vaccination and the implications for studying to become a registered nurse.I refer you to the information provided on our website:This qualification is covered by the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Amendment Order 2021. Students are therefore required to be fully vaccinated, including a booster dose, as they will have frequent contact/engagement with those providing health services and are considered tied to a role within a healthcare setting. You will note that there will be limitations in terms of clinical learning. At present we do not have any clinical learning placements that will accept students who are not fully vaccinated including a booster. Clinical learning makes up a significant part of the nursing programme with placements in all three years of the programme. You not be able to complete some courses without completing the clinical learning experiences".In other words, I can't pass the course because I'm not vaccinated.
This I belive is discriminatory against my personal beliefs and medical and educational needs, and a direct violation of human rights.

Hi. We have a dispute with NZ post. They lost our parcel during a breakin in their depot last april and it contains our passport and legal documents

Customer: They have compensated us for $2000 as per the CCLA but it took more than that to get our passports renewed not yet. We tried taking them to tribunal court but they kept coming back to CCLA

Customer: We went to CAB and they advised to make a dispute to tribunal, which we did. But they all kept coming back to CCLA. CCLA protects NZpost. Isnt there a law that covers the consumers? We spent more than that to get our passports renewed and visas stamped again

Customer: we just had the tribunal hearing earlier but CCLA keeps coming back and we felt so defeated. The referee was the one who kept talking about CCLA. Nzpost didnt even make their stand as CCLA already did it for them my question is, is there a law/act that protects the consumers?

Hi, I need some advice on divorce in NZ

Customer: we married in South Africa with Anti Nup. We own property in Vietnam and also NZ. We have 1 minor daughetr who is adopted by my wife. Both are vietnamese citizens but living in NZ as permanent residents. I am working in Vietnam on long contract. My wife wants to divorce in Vietnam because it is quicker. What are the implications if we divorce in Vietnam as far as NZ property. House in NZ is registered in both our names.

Hi, I’ve recently been granted residency in New Zealand with the once off 2021 residency visa. My wife and daughters aged 17 and 15 are also included. My concern is that I have been seperated from my wife for just under 3 years due to Covid and I’m concerned that we may not be compatible anymore due to the stress and me being alone for this period of time. Hi. I bought a bed from bedsrus in Dunedin. It was a sleepthead chiropractic mattress. Before purchasing, I extensively tried it out in store and was happy. The mattress I ordered was a king single size, not the double or queen size I tried out in store. With my new mattress I sag into the middle. There is no support in the middle. When I lay on the edge , there is support, but that support does not happen in the middle of the mattress.

Customer: I am in touch with the shop but they say it could be my base, which i dispute as it is in perfect order with no sag or broken in any way

Customer: No this is my first port of call. From what I have seen online, I am entitled to a full refund as the mattress is not fit for purpose ( ie chiropractic mattress) yes. They say it could be my base. Failing that they want to send the mattress back for checking. That would leave me with no bed

Hi, my offer of $465,000 had been accepted by the vendor, however the issue preventing the sale was that I had requested vacant possession and the tenants did not want to leave their fixed-term tenancy early. The real estate agent had been negotiating with the vendor and tenants and told me the vendor had received an 'in principle' agreement with the tenants to leave the fixed-term tenancy and would sell the property to me for $470,000 to cover this added expense.
However, once I (reluctantly) agreed to increase my price the agreement fell through shortly after and I was told that the vendor now expected $470,000 without the tenants agreeing to move out. Do I have any legal remedies available given that this could be construed a breach of contract/I had been induced to increase my price for a promise of vacant possession that was not delivered?

I am the "complainant" In a court case for non violent breaches of a protection order, however the police have added breaches that are not true and correct as additional. I have spoken to the Detective in charge and the crown prosecutor, however they are not listening to me. With the additional charges it looks very severe to the judge, as she can only see what's I'm front of her. I have written two letters with my safety plans/support and thoughts however I feel that as they keep saying I am the complainant in this matter, the additional charges should not be fictional and should I be getting a lawyer so that my voice and concerns are actually heard by the court. He has been imprisoned for 5weeks on remand, then was out on 24 hour bail for a week, until the police appealed that due to his place of residence being in the same city as me... so went back into remand? This is honestly so much more stressful and traumatic than the reasons I had a protection order in the first place

Customer: No. Last one was in June. He was under the influence of methamphetamine and then engaged with an aod counselor to get help but then went back into prison. I have worked with people that have addiction s for the last 5years, so put forward my view that he has bail conditions to continue to engage with services so he does not relapse, as it was the primary concern for me

Hi, my father recently passed away in NZ and I live in australia. I am wanting to find out why our solicitor is telling us he cannot transfer the money left to us from the estate direct into our australian bank accounts. He is telling us we need to open nz bank account and get it transferred from there. Only problem is we no longer have NZ bank accounts and have no record of our old NZ ird numbers to do so
