Our last Duty Station was Virginia where we both have drivers license. My residency is in Florida and home of record is Alabama. We got married in Florida 21FEB2013.

I am sorry you are having marital problems.  Are you asking if you can file in your home of record please?
Customer
I would like to know what State I need to file for Divorce?

Thank you.  So the state of permanent residence can accept jurisdiction even if the military couple is overseas.  Please see

How do I determine what State has my permanent Residence?

You can review this here

https://www.army.mil/article/160640/state_of_residence_vs_home_of_record_what_does_it_all_mean

It is usually where one maintains a residence or pays taxes for example.

Customer
My home of record is Alabama that is where I joined the Military. I lived in California for 9 years and Voted there no property. I moved to Virginia where I currently have my Drivers License and my vehicles are registered. My Residency is Florida and that is the State in which I got married. I am confused on what State has jurisdiction?

Unfortunately I cannot provide legal advice.  I can only provide general information and you can sue that based on your facts to see where you fit in.

So I cannot state which state a person may or may not file in based on their specific situation unfortunately as only a personal attorney can provide that. If you contact jag they may be able to provide an attorney

Customer
Ok thank you for the information.
