In California, felony convictions can only be expunged if no time served in state prison, if felony was successfully ended, and the applicant is not currently facing criminal charges, on probation, or serving another sentence. In most cases, the most important thing to be qualified for a felony expungement in California you must have completed your sentence. Also, you must not have any pending charges or be serving any other sentence at the time you file the expungement petition. Another requirement is to make sure court-ordered fines have been paid. Only then once expunged, you can try to be in the navy. Also, you can ask a local lawyer for a detailed review in your case.
