Hello! Thanks for using JustAnswer. My name is ***** ***** I will be the expert ready to answer your questions to the best of my ability and with top-quality service. I’m sorry to hear you are having these problems with your legal issue, and I know that can be frustrating. Hopefully, this can be resolved quickly.

Are you asking if there is a fee to request your military records?

Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (the "ADA") requires an employer to provide reasonable accommodation to qualified individuals with disabilities who are employees or applicants for employment, unless to do so would cause undue hardship. "In general, an accommodation is any change in the work environment or in the way things are customarily done that enables an individual with a disability to enjoy equal employment opportunities."

So if the employer is violating this, it could not only be a basis for a complaint, but also a potential lawsuit. You shoudl be able to find some local attorneys by visiting www.justia.com. If not laweyr is offering a free consultation, you may want to offer to pay an hourly rate. But just know what the rate would be before agreeing.

Does that make sense? Did you have any additional concerns or need me to clarify anything related to this?

I am sorry, that answer was meant for a different question. You can request your military records online through the VA website. Once I’ve signed in to milConnect, you would request your DD214 or other military records.

You’ll receive an email letting you know we’re processing your request. You’ll receive a second email when your request is complete and your files are ready for you to review and download.

Generally there is no charge for basic military personnel and medical record information provided to veterans, next of kin and authorized representatives from Federal (non-archival) records.

Does that answer your question?
