Hello and thank you in advance for using Just Answer. I amCustomer. I am an expert attorney with over 22 years of legal experience, ready to answer your questions with top quality service. I am so sorry to hear you are having an issue and I greatly hope I can be of assistance. However, before we get started. There are a few things we must go over. First, you may receive a prompt for a telephone consultation. This is an additional paid service offered only by Justanswer, not me and you may decline the offer if you wish. Still, depending on the issue you are experiencing, many customers sometimes prefer a telephone consultation because it is easier to talk about an issue and get immediate help. Further, I am only able to answer general questions. I am not your attorney, and no attorney client privilege can exist between us. Since my answers are not considered legal advice, it is always recommended that you consult with a local attorney for specific legal information for your situation. Also, at times, there might be delay in my response from time to time. That may occur for a variety of reasons including but not limited to, a delay with the service, I may have to step out on another matter and most importantly, I may need time to research your question to provide you with the best answer possible. Thus, in advance, I sincerely ***** ***** for your patience.
Also, please understand, If I give you negative news about the law, please understand, I didn't make the law, I'm simply just telling you what the law is. I deeply apologize if the law is not in your favor. Despite what some people may think, the law isn't always "fair". Although I can’t always give good news, I can always promise that I will be honest and forthcoming with you about your issue.

In my opinion if you have a joint bank account with someone, both parties have complete access to the funds which means your wife can withdraw and do what she likes with the money.
