Marital debts can be pursued against both, but typically will settle long before that happens.

Those debts can be pursued against you but often are not and resolved before that happens.

The creditor will often end up securing a judgment, levy on his bank accounts and collecting from there.

Its not likely but theoretically possible if they dont find assets in his name.
