Did you trademark a brand name?

You cannot copyright a title/name or brand name.  Do you remember what you may have registered with the copyright office?

You can trademark a brand name.  For example, did you apply for a trademark for a word or phrase like "Just Do it"

Regarding your initial question, did you allow someone else or another business to use your brand and now want royalties? Or, are you looking to understand royalties or how to get paid for your brand?

When you say "They did it for me." who are you referring to?  Part of your question may have been cut off, so I'm not sure who helped you copyright your app and trademark your name.  Who did you have a contract with?

What ever money, royalties, benefits, you are entitled to should be in the contract you signed.

In 2022, I'm not sure it would cost much.
