You were a US citizen since birth because the citizenship law at the time stated that because your mother was a US citizen, you were a US citizen. So you never "became" a US citizen, you were automatically a citizen upon your birth.  What documents is the Danish government requesting from you specifically?

Customer
I don’t know where or how to get that information

Yes, sorry for the delay.  The only option would be to file a FOIA with USCIS (immigration). It is a free service but you will need to provide your mother's death certificate to get her records and your parents' if you wish to file for them also.  Here is the link https://www.uscis.gov/records/request-records-through-the-freedom-of-information-act-or-privacy-act

You can provide this chart as well https://www.ilrc.org/sites/default/files/resources/natz_chart_b-2022-7-19_.pdf

Does what I explained make sense? I am here to make sure you receive the best service possible. If you feel that you did not understand or if you would like me to clarify anything or answer anything related, please feel free to reply back with that question and ask me until you are satisfied with the assistance you received. I am very happy to help you and it is all included.

Yes, this is a service to get any immigration record available for your mom and for her parents.  You can apply for all of them.
