I hope you are doing well today.  What was your US immigration status prior to deportation?

OK. And you were deported after serving a prison sentence?

Just checking in to see if you could give me some more information so I can best answer your question. Thank you!

Since I have not heard back from you in some time, I will answer your question based on the limited information you have provided. In most cases, a removal (deportation) from the US brings with it a bar from re-entering the US for a period of years. As a result, you most likely cannot return to the US lawfully at this time, at least not without receiving a waiver.

I recommend consulting with a local immigration attorney who can review your particular circumstances and let you know your options.

Please let me know if you have any further questions about this, or if there is anything I can clarify.
