Okay thank you. What the is the alleged basis for termination?
TraceyLaw, Expert
Yes I am, please take note of my message above, there may be delays...

Did you use a court approved provider to get the treatment?
TraceyLaw, Expert
You should be prompted for a phone call on your end. I can't initiate that.
TraceyLaw, Expert
You've been misinformed, you are required to get all services from court appointed providers only. This is not a basis for TPR however. How long has your child or children been in care?
TraceyLaw, Expert
They should not and as I stated, that wouldn't be a basis to terminate your rights. If you are doing the program as agreed, then that is not the basis of the TPR. Do you have the petition they filed? The basis is stated there.

Good morning, finding pro bono attorneys for matters like this is difficult. I'm still searching, thank you.

Okay thank you. Finding a lawyer to go against CPS for free wasn't going to be likely in any state but I wanted to give it a look anyway. Sure enough, I got no luck. I found a LOT of resources but none of them for TPR. Where I practice, a parent is entitled to counsel but that is a matter of state law and CA does not provide counsel for parents in this situation. For these reasons, I highly suggest you make contact with this firm here who provides a free consultation for CPS cases. You didn't give your actual location w/in CA so if this lawyer is not located near you, give me the city and county and I will see if I can an appropriate attorney closer to your location.
