My daughter's father wants 50/50 custody but lives 2 hours away and doesn't come to see her.

Please understand that 50/50 custody only means that each of the parents has the authority to grant medical care and to have decision making authority regarding schooling. That is all that means.

He wants to keep her every weekend while we both work through out the week

Every weekend is not fair. A Judge is not going to make this kind of Order.
