I am sorry you are having to deal with this.  When did the adoption take place please?

Thank you.  Unfortunately the only way to undo an adoption after so many years is to attempt to adopt the child.  Once parental rights are terminated it is final and the only way to undo it is to start the process over with the biological parent as the adoption petitioner.

Customer
Ok bc she's wanting to give them back to me

Thank you; then yes, petitioning for adoption would allow for this to occur.  It would be done in the county the child currently resides.

I wish you a happy reunion.

Hello;
Just wanted to check in with you again.
I try and provide as much information as possible to the customers of the site, so I wanted to get you some information on how to hire an attorney should you determine that is necessary

Here is an article from the American Bar Association on how to hire an attorney, as well as a link to their referral program;
https://www.americanbar.org/groups/legal_services/flh-home/flh-hire-a-lawyer/
Many people find that useful.

This is very important as it explains how billing works
https://www.americanbar.org/groups/legal_services/milvets/aba_home_front/information_center/working_with_lawyer/fees_and_expenses/

I definitely hope all this information, as well as the information provided earlier, is helpful.

Should you need further assistance, be sure and reach out to us here at Just Answer and we will do our best to get you that information!
As always, thank you for allowing me to assist you. I hope this site has been helpful as I believe in providing affordable legal information so that one can decide if they need to pursue the issue with a personal attorney. Thank you and take care.
