You will need to ask the judge for permission. The court has to include that in the marital settlement or the decree if judge hears it. You can amend your petition and ask for such permission to relocate. Only way to do this is if the judge approves the request.

Customer
What are the consequences of relocating without the permission?

What else after I return with my child?

That is it here. It is very possible judge would grant this as you have good cause to do so.

We are continuing to experience issues with Vishnu at school that have me quite concerned we are not going to be a compatible environment. Most concerning is the safety issue: our experience is that Vishnu wishes to run and leave the class whenever we are moving around campus, and he requires most if not all of one of the teachers' attention when this happens. We always have a teacher in front and a teacher in back, but he isn't calm even when a teacher is holding his hand - if he should break free, we would be in the unsatisfactory position of one teacher needing to monitor all the other students while one deals exclusively with Vishnu.During classroom time, Vishnu does not respond verbally to the other children or to any directions from the teachers. This is most apparent during circle time and music, when he does not participate, and often lies down or sits and rocks.I know Vishnu exhibits a lot of early knowledge at home: letters, counting, shapes & colors. Our 3plus classroom is less about knowledge and more about social development, and Vishnu does not seem comfortable with this structure.Given that you reported last week that his prior school/care environment was not having these issues, perhaps a return would be best for Vishnu. If that's not the direction you want to go, we can continue to work this week and next with Vishnu, but if that does not bring any progress, we will need to terminate enrollment. Our payment cycle has another payment due here at 10/15, but let's hold off on that for now until we are sure we are moving ahead.

Maybe the ex would agree for you to go. Otherwise you go if you need to do so and see if judge grants permission for you to stay. Best you can do here.

Thanks again if you have more I will respond in the am.
