I am so sorry. You will need someone to represent you. You may want to contact legal aid. Unfortunately, CPS has the right to investigate the claims. You will want to cooperate with them.

Customer
I’ve cooperated. What I’m saying is that the claims are being made by my 13 yr old Emotionally unstable daughter. She’s making accusations that are not true. She’s also told my best friend who’s close to her and hangs out with her a lot. My friends like an aunt to her. My daughter told her that she will say anything to make us look bad so she can be taken away to live with her grandmother. She’s also written an incriminating letter that states she lies and need help with lying.
They’ve not bothered checking any character witnesses for my husband and I.
Customer
My youngest daughter is disabled and needs regular medical care that my husband and I are better to do her care.

I am so sorry to hear this. So where is the child now?

Customer
I have 3. My oldest is with my mother. She’s 17. She is there because her and I got into an argument. My younger two were not present during the argument. The younger two are with my mother in law. The grandmother my 13 yr old wants to live with.

I am very sorry to hear this. Is there a hearing with the judge set?

Customer
There’s no judge hearing. They’re under a kinship currently. The main problem is they’re dragging their feet and now they’re making sure we go through parental counseling individually with each child

Unfortunately, you will need to comply with them while they investigate and do everything. If you can hire a lawyer it may help to speed up the process.

Customer
as of now I’m stuck there’s no getting my girls back until I’ve jumped through hoops?

Have you gone to court and asked the court to appoint an attorney to represent you? Do that or hire your own a private attorney if you can afford it.

Then you can try to make the process quicker. If you feel your rights are violated, then you can file an action in court.

Customer
Ok thank you.
