Lawyer's, Assistant
20 years ago.Louisiana. my wife filed a seperation of assets to protect our assets with someone who had a legitimate claim against our assets. since the claims past their deadline we have comingled assets and did joint taxes for 20 years. we were told by the attorney who filed this separation of assets in 2003 that they were very weak and easily pierced i just got served divorce papers and her attorney is heavily relying on this 2003 document to take me to the cleaners plus she filed a vinculo matrimonii which you know accuses me of marital misconduct and lied that we have already been seperated for 180 days when its been 3 weeks i know we she me to lawer up because she wants mi wifes money what demands can i make to have her refile my wife have already decided to a specific division of assets i would like to to see that 2003 filing removed and a specific seperation of assets already agreed upon put in its place then i will grant a waiver and divorce immediately
JA: Were any of the assets acquired before the marriage? Or given through an inheritance?
Customer: no ma'am we got to Louisiana married and penniless mad dad gifted us property but I've always conssidered ours we built up carreers with the net worth of our estate valued at 1.56 million she just left and totally agreed to give me 37% i just want the lies removed from that document
JA: Were any marital funds used for the mortgage or property improvements?
Customer: all of them
JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: like i said my wife and are in total are total agreement as to division of assets we still love each other but i want an accurate document filed not the one as written and i dont that lawyer to take on more dollar from her trying to provoke me as said the assets have been agreed upon to the penny
I have a 15 year old that is choosing to not come home from school or stay gone all weekend. He is a runaway when it is convenient for him. We report it. He is hiding out somewhere with WIfi service. He got a phone that doesn't have a number or service and some money from a creepy old guy. We have talked with him, the school officer, the principal, his IEP teacher, his case worker, and his therapist have all spoke with him. But nothing is changing, he thinks it's okay to pick and choose when he comes home. We are in Mesa, AZ. What should I be doing??
JA: What steps have you taken? Have you filed any papers in AZ family court?
Customer: No, we have reported it to the police. They don't find him. He always goes to school and then we have to take him off the runaway report.
JA: Have you talked to a lawyer about this yet?
Customer: No. I'm not sure what to do. I haven't dealt with this before. He is an adopted child and still has a case worker because he is high needs.
JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: He has been cutting (doing self harm). One of the times that he was gone for a week and a half, he threatened to take his life but does that for the attention if he isn't getting what he wants. We have talked to the case worker about switching him to a behavioral school. He has told his therapist that he will runaway if we put him any where but at Westwood. He's a great kid and we have some good conversations and he can be on an even keel at home but as soon as he goes to school, it's like there is a switch that flips.
