Expert's Assistant chat
Customer: I was terminated by a CA company after I filed a sel-disclosure ofr "inflated business expenses". I have an anxiety disorder, and panicked when I thought I had committed infractions -- in retrospect, I actually did not. No questions as to what exactly I accused myself were asked before I was terminated, and I detailed the perceived infractions thaq same day to the employer (ciding myself for not prorating travel if I spent an extra day to accomodate jetlag). Am I entitled to a review of the termination?
JA: Just to confirm, were any reasons given as grounds for the termination?
Customer: code of conduct
JA: What kind of workplace is this (private sector, public sector, etc.)? How many employees?
Customer: stat-up biotech, 300 employees
JA: Have you talked to a CA lawyer about the termination?
Customer: not yet
JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: I had just returned ffoma 2-week business trip, havin run out of my meds...
