Hello! This is Joy and I am happy to be of service. I understand your concerns. Are the supervisors harassing you when they contact you? Have you used all of your FMLA leave, which is the 12 weeks?
Joy, Expert
Ok. Unfortunately, the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) only requires employers to grant 12 weeks of unpaid leave. If you have used all of your paid leave and your FMLA leave, the employer has the right to require you to return to work or terminate your employment if you cannot work your position. The employer may list excessive absenteeism as cause for the termination of employment.
