Customer: Deborah and I work for a telemarketing company. I received a message that I was not honoring the terms of the employmant.
JA: Have you discussed this with a manager or HR? Or with a lawyer?
Customer: well no one else is either. Then he took surveys away from me stating that I showed political bias. Now I am so hurt I am crying. There is no HR, both the boss and the supervisor are in agreement; i just know.
JA: Are you an "at will" employee? Do you belong to a union?
Customer: no union
JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: I feel this is retaliation because a few years ago I walked in on my supervisor discussing my medications with a coworker

he said I signed a contract 4 1/2 years ago that stated that i was to produce 1 lead per hour. I did really well for years.

The next thing he did was take me off of surveys because I showed political bias. Not true. I don't know much about p0olitics at all. They said they had a recording but we never told the customer they were being recorded. I think Im being singled out and being listened to By

I'm thinking if they did or not. I think they were pretty careful after what Debi said. I'm being treated unfairly, being singled out kicfking me off surveys with a very mean spirited letter; something that a warning would suffice. After that, after they knocked the wind out of my sails, well I became scared of possible termination. He is setting ,me up to fail with threat again, this time i need to get .5 leads per hour but he had replaced the script from the one I used for 4.5 years with a terrible script.

Okay.  In general, employment is at will.  This means that an employer can terminate an employee at any time, for any reason.  However, it would be illegal for an employer to terminate an employee for a discriminatory reason.
