I am very sorry to hear of this termination. Were you under a contract with your company?

Customer
No

CC, Expert

Okay, thank you for that information. I am very sorry. Please allow me a few minutes to prepare a response for you.

I am very sorry to hear of this issue. If you believe the termination was based on discrimination or retaliation, you can make a complaint with the EEOC at EEOC.gov. You will want to file the complaint and the EEOC will investigate your complaint. If they find that it is founded, they will issue you a right to sue letter. You can then use the right to sue letter to sue your ex-employer. You will then want to locate a local attorney to assist you in the lawsuit.

If at anytime you need an attorney to assist you, you can find a local attorney by contacting your local bar association and asking for a referral to one. You can also contact your local legal aid society as they offer free and low cost services in these types of cases. Another good resource is to contact your local law schools as they often have clinics with attorneys that will assist in these types of cases. Again, I am sorry to hear of this issue. If you have any follow up questions, I will be very happy to assist you.

If there was an investigation, a detective would have contacted you for an interview.

Customer
He let me store some things there and he is now keeping my things. How can get my belongings without a receipt?
Customer
I'm not aloud on the property
img

CC, Expert

You should contact the police and see if they will assist you in getting your items. If they cannot help you, you will have to sue for a return of your items.

Customer
Because he told police that everything was his and I can't prove it without a receipt
img

CC, Expert

You would have to sue for the return of your items then.

Customer

CC, Expert

Go to police or a municipal building
