I’ve been working in a hostile environment for 5 1/2 years of the eight years. I’ve been with this labor union and I’ll be walking out on Tuesday because of mental distress is there someone who might be able to speak with me so I can go into this further and see what my options are?
JA: What kind of workplace is this (private sector, public sector, etc.)? How many employees?
Customer: You’re probably not going to like the answer to this, but is actually a Labor Union in Atlanta. We have 24 employees and I am the bookkeeper at this particular local and as I stated I’ve been there eight years with this particular regime they’ve been in for 5 1/2 years and it’s been bad from the get-go.
JA: Where are you located? Harassment laws vary by state.
Customer: The job is located in Atlanta. I myself live in Alpharetta Georgia and yes I know George is a right to work state but no one should put up with what I’ve had to put up with the last 5 1/2 years. I’m having issues with my phone trying to get this to go through. Please bear with me.

Customer: I have plenty more it would just take too long to talk this all out over this means. At this particular moment today I’m on vacation when I go back on Tuesday, I will not be returning the cost of the middle harassment and as far as I’m concerned abuse that I’ve taken over especially this last couple of weeks.

First off I was demoted from Team leader position and I was told by my union rep. I couldn't file a grevience. My union rep. Allowed the 2nd shift superintendent to bring avoided write up and an incident of wrong labels done by a line worker which I didn't sign off on the 1st piece sheet I only had a verbal for work stoppage 30 min. I feel this is unjustified the voided incident another Team leader claimed responsibility for that and my write up was voided but I was the one to be demoted
JA: Just to confirm, were any reasons given as grounds for the termination?
Customer: Yes the voided incident and the miss labeled parts
JA: What kind of workplace is this (private sector, public sector, etc.)? How many employees?
Customer: DANA they manufactur Drive Shafts for GM and Chrysler all shifts about 300 employees

Customer: Yes back in 2002 I organized the Rochester facility to be unionized I also had to file a complaint on Dana for harassment and intimidation company denied everything shortly after they closed facility I transferred to Auburn Hill facility which the head of HR took my corporate seniority and didn't give me severence pay I asked Daryl Cummins why was seniority taken he said because we didn't go where he wanted us to go Paris Tenn. or Saint Clare Mich. There is 3 currently employed now
