Hello,

My name is ***** ***** I am an attorney with Just Answer.  I will try to help you with general legal information only.  I cannot give you legal advice or act as your attorney to not form an attorney client relationship

I am afraid it is probably too late to reschedule this important court date. This should have been done at least a week ago by calling the court clerk's office with your request.

You will have to reschedule your doctor's appointment or whatever you have to do tomorrow, unless this is a real emergency.

Court time is expensive, and judge's dockets are full.  This makes it difficult to change their schedules unless the court has a very much advanced notice.

Your appearance in court tomorrow is a Court Order.  This is not an appointment.  You will have to show up in court on time tomorrow.  If you do not show up in court tomorrow on time, your case will be dismissed.

Do you have any follow up questions?

Do you have any questions?

Do you have an attorney?  Does the other side have an attorney?

If you .

Wow , you speak down to me in your nicest way. I’m a educated woman and understand the law.,you clearly have misspoken. Over this holiday I was seen in emergency for Covid 19/ SARS (positive) and a skin infection on my leg which has severe swelling& pain I literally can’t walk and I’m disabled ( suffer from genetic blood disorder (lack of “S” factor in blood) so I m prone to DVT’s in my deep veins. I have a verified doctors request for a rescheduled court date which came over the holiday. I am going to court and by the way I’ve not been charged with anything as I have not committed a crime and will be hiring the right attorney for complicated but extremely prepared and winnable case . Thank you for your time.

I am sorry Rebecca If you felt that I spoke down to you.  I never know who I am helping or their backgrounds.  I was afraid that you might not go to court and be defaulted in a civil matter and lose your case.  Some people do that at the last minute.  Any rescheduling will have to be done days or even weeks in advance, because judge's dockets are always full, and court time is expensive that is the judges responsibility.

I am sorry to hear about your health condition and understand the reasons you can't go.  I just didn't want you to inadvertently lose or compromise your case.

Good luck with your case and in finding a good attorney to represent you. I hope you are successful with your case.
