Customer: Bexar County, San Antonio, TX
JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.

Hello. This is Jim, I've been an attorney for over 35 years, and I’ll do my best to answer your questions today. Our chat can be as long as you need it to be.

Just so you are aware, JA is only a legal information site. I do not provide representation and no attorney-client relationship is formed. My answers and comments should not be considered legal advice. It is always best to hire a local attorney to review the specifics of your particular case to ensure that a proper review is conducted.

Finally, it's not unusual for me to be handling multiple customer needs simultaneously; there may be a delay of a few minutes in my responses to your replies.

Customer
I'm on probation for a DWI (will be dismissed after probation completion). May I continue to take hemp products that contains the THC compound legally?

I'd have to know the language of your probation order to give you a definite answer, but the answer is probably yes, you can; those orders tend to prohibit the use of "any intoxicating substance", which doesn't describe what you're taking. That said, the headache may be more than it's worth; a positive test could result in a motion to revoke your probation, and it would be up to you at that point to prove that your positive result wasn't the result of taking an intoxicating substance.

Have you asked your PO about this issue?

Customer
I've told my PO I have taken hemp based THC and he is stated it would be a problem; he is also an asshole.

Whether he's an asshole doesn't really enter into it; it's probably best to avoid the hassle, and not take the stuff.

Customer
Can I be an asshole, too?
Customer
Legally?
Customer
Well, there is an issue with the JustAnswer, apparently the hidden $60 membership fee indeed has RISK

If you have an issue with billing, you need to contact customer service; i'm afraid I just answer questions.

And no, there's no law against you being an asshole with your PO, but that's really not advisable either.
