Hello my name is***** and I am an attorney with 18 years of experience. Please give me a minute to review your question and provide a response. What is the court date for in Florida?

Customer

If it is a criminal court date you can have an arrest warrant issued for failing to appear which could lead to your arrest. However, if the court date is a civil court date to address the restraining order then no arrest warrant will be issued. You should contact the clerk of court in Florida to find out which it is.

Customer
Have tried to find out but couldn't get a good answer

Unfortunately I can’t provide a more complete answer but you would not be arrested unless it is a criminal case.

Does that help answer your question?
