Hello,

My name is ***** ***** I am a practicing attorney, specializing in criminal law.  I also have three years of experience as a civil attorney.  I am a prosecutor who has handled cases from warrants to trial, ranging from shoplifting and drug cases to murders and sex offenses.

Just Answer is just a legal information site.

We do not provide representation and no attorney-client relationship is formed.

Response time: Although it’s usually 5-10 minutes, sometimes there can be a delay of an hour or more in between my answers because I may be researching the answer to your question, helping other people, or if we are writing late at night, I may need to stop and resume helping you the following day.

I am also a full time criminal litigator, so please take that into consideration.

OH.

Customer
Still what type of lawyer do I need
img

Jeremy, Esq., Expert

He can't keep you out of the house.  It's marital property and there's nothing preventing you from getting in.
A family law attorney could handle this.  Any kind of attorney, really, could help you with this.  It doesn't require a particular type.  Family law attorneys that are telling you they can't handle it are likely trying to prevent anything from happening there, so they're recommending a divorce.  Family law attorneys handle all kinds of domestic cases.  Not just divorces.

So the answer to your question is "any attorney, really."  Have you tried calling the sheriff's office about him not letting you in?

Customer
I haven talked to one yet that can help
Customer
I was advised they cannot force him to let me in

I mean, literally any attorney can help you if they can file pleadings.

Customer
How will that work file pleading
img

Jeremy, Esq., Expert

if you wanted to do it yourself, you would go to the clerk's office and pick up forms for filing something.  I can't advise you on it, but the clerk would have the forms there that you need.  It's advisable that you find an attorney to do it, though.  They can't all avoid it.

Customer
they are it is unbelievable how all want me to divorce
Customer
What type of form
img

Jeremy, Esq., Expert

a civil complaint or something like that

Customer
Ok I will see what luck I have tomorrow. Thank you
