Lawyer's, Assistant
I purchased 2 purebred Maine Coon kittens from England. They were put on a flight to me, destination New Orleans. At their first stop, Toronto, the youngest kitten needed some vet care, nothing serious. Once recovered they would continue. I was emailed a bill for 1900pounds. The transport co said the bill mist be paid in full before they could board next flight. Understand, there is difficulty in getting US funds to UK/EuR. I've had great difficulty and took 10 days before I got funds to them, at their payment instructions. Because I paid by Discover card, they sent payment back. I got this info after the return. They said credit cards take too long to process. The payment was processed and paid in 2 days, in the meantime, their return is floating around, the kittens remain in their crates, but now they've said the brought kittens a home care rescue facility temporarily to wait out payment of this bill. Is this legal? I fulfilled paying the bill, their choice to return it. They did not notify me before placing kittens elsewhere and I've been provided no contact info.
JA: What state is this in? And when did the issue begin?
Customer: I am in New Orleans, LA, the kittens are in Toronto, CAD. Issue began 8/30
JA: Have you contacted the seller or manufacturer?
Customer: You mean the breeder? Yes, we are both working this. No mfr involved.
JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: I'm pretty sure I've given the most important points of this situation.
I rented a car from Alamo for 3 weeks and it was right around $1,750 the vehicle had leaked profusely severe damage which I have all the videos and documents of and I was unable to return the vehicle for another week and they end up charging me $4,500 for I tried disputing it with my credit card company and basically they said I'm stuck
JA: Have there been any other issues with the property during the course of this lease?
Customer: Yes when I realized it was an issue with the vehicle I called roadside service I rented it from Tampa International Airport drove it to North Carolina that's where the problem had occurred I called roadside on the side of the road and basically whenever I followed their instructions and I went to the nearest International Airport in Asheville North Carolina they said it would cost around $9,000 to leave the current vehicle there and to return their vehicle to Tampa which I end up fixing the vehicle myself and reluctantly drove it back to Tampa the company knew about the issues and they end up charging me an astronomical amount
JA: Have you contacted the seller or manufacturer?
Customer: Yes a representative from Alamo said it was going to be an additional charge which I was upset about but I reluctantly agreed they refunded the money to my credit card and then charged me even more money so this is where I'm at
JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: My credit card company Capital One pretended to help me but in the end they did absolutely nothing and pretty much cited with Alamo they didn't ask me for my pictures my videos any of the information that I have on my behalf of the claim which is very frustrating I will do whatever it takes in contact whoever I got in contact let's get this solved fairly
