JA: What are the terms of the lease? Any issues related to maintenance or upkeep?
Customer: She has given me eviction notice for no good reason. My daughter has been staying with me.she has no where to go.im all she has. I'm very clean.

Do you share a bathroom or kitchen with her?

Here is the answer to your query. Please do not hesitate to ask any follow up questions related to this response and know that I will respond as soon as I can.

Your landlord is acting unlawfully turning off the water You can seek an urgent hearing before the Landlord and Tenant Board. They will order that she keep the water on and that she provide you with a rent abatement for the times she did not.

She cannot evict you for having a roommate. You have the right to have any roommate you like unless you are overcrowding the unit.

Does that help?

Customer
