Here is the answer to your query. Please do not hesitate to ask any follow up questions related to this response and know that I will respond as soon as I can.

What you should do is send a letter to the contractor at that address. Send a letter by registered mail which requires a signature and also by regular mail. In the letter and give them a deadline for attending at your home and making the repairs and tell them if they fail to comply you will retain another company to make the repairs and then will sue them for reimbursement of the costs you incurred in having another company make the repairs.

You can then sue them in small claims court and can self -represent.

Does that help as a starting point?

Customer
Oh yes. Thanks. I have sent him a letter already which came back as moved. I will check with a friend to see if he has. This friend recommended him. So I hope he tells me.
