Good afternoon – sorry to hear of your situation. Generally speaking, a hospital can introduce rules regarding vaccine policies to protects its workers and other patients. If there is a documented medical reason why you cannot be vaccinated, for example you are allergic to an ingredient in the vaccine or you had a severe reaction to the first dose, then your doctor could provide a letter asking for an exemption. Under the human rights legislation, an exemption should be granted in situations where you medically cannot receive the vaccine and there is no other reasonable accommodation available.
