Debra, Expert

I know your question is important to you and I will be giving it the time and attention it deserves.

I am sorry to hear of this difficult situation.

It is OK to have a visitor's visa and a study permit. The visa is needed so you can re-enter Canada. You need both.

Does that help?

Customer
I've came to know that if a student or worker changes the status to visitor.he/she cannot apply for extension of study permit or apply for work permit.is that true?
Customer
Because I am still a valid student at the moment I really don't know why my status changed to visitor

Your status did not change to visitor. You need a visitor's visa to be able to in the enter. You have your study permit so you are a valid student and do not have to worry. The visitor's visa is a temporary resident visa.

Customer
