Customer: When I signed my rental agreement it did not say anything about Payne internet or cable now I moved out as of yesterday and my landlord is stating that I owe 122 k bills before I can get my damage deposit back
JA: Because laws vary from place to place, can you tell me what state the property is in?

JA: What are the terms of the lease? Any issues related to maintenance or upkeep?
Customer: BC
JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.

Good afternoon – sorry to hear about the situation. In your lease, it should indicate whether cable and internet are included or not. What does your lease state for these two utilities?

Customer
No it does not

Customer
Belief does not say anything it's says
Customer

Did you set up the cable/internet or did the landlord?

Joey, Expert

If you're only required to pay part of the electricity/heat, then that's what you need to pay. If they provided you free cable and internet that you never asked for, never agreed to pay, and never set up, then that's on the landlord.
