No. I would not say that is the new normal. Normally, the lawyer does a reporting letter right away and sends you that letter with all of the documentation that you should keep in your own file. I suggest you call the lawyer to ask why you haven't received that yet.

Why don't you call him and say that you need the documents by Friday before the close of business and that you're getting terribly concerned.
