Good morning – you would be able to apply for the “Canada Child Benefit” after living in Canada for a minimum of 18 months.  This is calculated based on your income and number of children. That’s the biggest one when it comes to families with children. There are some smaller credits if you are a very low income family, but those are available when you file you first file your taxes and usually not earlier.
