Hello. I am one of JA's expert lawyers and will assist you with your query. However, please note information on this site is for general purpose only and does not form a solicitor-client relationship. Also, while I am online at the moment, I am not always online so if you happen to message me at a time when I am not in front of the computer, it may take me a little while to get back to you. Rest assured, I ask that you please be patient and know that I will definitely get back to you as soon as possible.
I am sorry to hear about this difficult situation. Your best recourse is going to be to file a complaint immediately with the LTB which is the Landlord Tenant Board. They are specifically designed to deal with situations such as these and make sure that no one has to live in bad conditions. If they can't reach a resolution they will make the Landlord pay you your rent back and also your security deposit back so that you can get a new apartment to live in.

Customer
There's a bug coming in through this gap. So I asked to close the gap, so the service center said they were coming today, but they didn't.
Customer
i dont w***** *****ve here, so i sent claim form in LTB
Customer
Just my apartment keep asserting we did the best cuz we did pest control for u, even if i dont w***** *****ve here, what if guys say, im gonna block holes for u?
Customer
What can i say for landlord?

Lawyer3786, Expert

You can tell the landlord that whatever they did clearly did not fix the issue so if they are not going to take steps to fix it properly you will be left with no choice but to contact LTB. I am sure at that point they will be more than willing to sort out the problem properly.

Customer
Sorry i have more questions

Yes, if you are seeing pests still you can request another pest control treatment from landlord after sending them pictures.

Customer
LTB is late to contact me, what should I do?

Lawyer3786, Expert

They are not late it just takes them time to get back to request, you can try calling them on the next business day for an update.
