I was on a critical illness caregiver leave for my spouse overseas since Sep. 2020 & had exhausted the 15 weeks. then went on a family caregiver leave for 8 weeks. I need another extension as my spouse still needs care. What other job-protected leaves would I be entitled to.
I also need information in regards ***** ***** disease emergency leave
A family member tested Covid -19 positive & I have to quarantine for 14 days. does this fall under the infectious disease emergency leave?

I do not believe that you have any other job protected leave options left to you. However, your employer still owes you a duty of reasonable accommodation and if you need this accommodation and the employer can provide it without undergoing undue hardship but will not that would be a case of discrimination and you can file a complaint with the human rights Tribunal.

So you should ask the employer to provide you this accommodation which is necessary because of your spouse's illness.
