Customer: Hi Pearl I was just talking to u and I can't ask one or 2 more questions to u. I already have a parallegel and have paid her. So I just pay $5 and talk to a lawyer for 5 days and it said up to 7 days. And then it said $66 a month. It says that I agree to the terms but I have no idea what they are
JA: What state is the property located in? And has anyone consulted a local attorney about this?
Customer: Ontario Canada where are u located
JA: What are the terms of the lease? Any issues related to maintenance or upkeep?
Customer: Her lease ran out years ago she has been there for 17 years. I have talked to a parallegel. So back to amount I have to pay u and were are u located. I have done this before for something else and they said they couldn't help me because I was in Ontario & they were in us
JA: Anything else you want the Lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: Yes I want u to explain how the payment works & what state I are in. You are not answering my question
JA: Sorry. Please ask it again.
Customer: Ask what? U ask for $5 Canadian & that I would be charged more or something like that.for 7 day or ,$66 for the month

Please note that the experts don’t text so there may be a bit of a delay. If you don’t answer back for a while I may not be online when you do but I will never desert you and will check back often. As well, as I am working from home it is possible that I will be interrupted but I will always return back as soon as I can.

I am sorry to hear of this difficult situation.

I am a lawyer in Toronto. I can answer your legal questions online. I don't take calls but only work online. If you are texting then if you don't have international texting for free you may be charged as the site is based in the US so use your computer if that is the case.

I don't know what your charged to use the site because I don't work for the site.

Please set out the basic facts and then your specific legal question so then I can answer you online right away.

Thanks

Hi Debra I am a landlord & in the of March I told my tenant, I was giving her the heads up that my husband and I were splitting up and that I have to move into my home. Gave her the N12 on May 16/20 that she had to be out by July 31/20. I received a email from her n July 17 from Grey Bruce Legal Clinic stating that see doesn't have to move & that I have to file an L2 to get a hearing & then the sheriff after that. Since LLTB are not holding hearings because of covid 19 & they are so backed up it will take a while for the hearing. I filed the L2 form on July 26 for an emergency hearing and I was denied because there is no health or serious safety concern at the complex.
I also applied for a short order and was denied the same reason. They did not take into consideration the healthy risk to the landlord. I am living in an abusive relationship at home with it being verbal. I talked to the mp, mpp, Grey Bruce housing & a councilor. Everyone is telling me to go live in a shelter. I had to work everyday and I was told that that wouldn't work because I have to quarantine for 2 weeks before I go in to one. So that won't work!!! I have cancelled all the contractors, cleaners, painters & hardwood guys. My health is not getting bad. I have lost 30lbs, my hair is falling out, nerves are bad and getting depressed going through the verbal abuse living were I am living. I own the home & I pay the taxes and I can't get into my home when I need to.
How can I get my hearing to be looked at sooner than later before I have a heart attack is the next thing I am sorting about!!!!
So question what can I do to get my hearing sooner than later. We don't even no what month the LLTB are hearing at the moment. ie. June, July or so on.my file #is CEL-95204-20. I have paid a parallegel $1000.00 & they say there is nothing they can do except wait and keep checking the LLTB for my file #. Can u help

That is a terrible story but no I can't help because the landlord tenant board is in chaos. That was even the case before the latest lockdown. This global pandemic has harmed so many people in so many different ways but there's just no way for you to get into the landlord and tenant Board before they give you a hearing.

Right now there is a ban on evictions anyway so if you got into the board they could not given you eviction order and even if they did it couldn't be enforced.

I'm so sorry to give you this horrible news.

I am not the one offering the call. I don't even take calls. You should speak to customer service to stop the communications and to make sure you aren't charged anymore.

I don't work for the site myself.
